The company was incorporated on 6th January 1989 as Building Network Automation Private Limited in Bangalore by technocrats, V. Ranganathan (ex-IISc., Bangalore) and T.P.Chandramohan, with 40 years of combined experience in IT networking solutions. Then, BNA was the first company to introduce structured cabling in the Indian market and has been successful in implementing networks on various protocols—Ethernet on coaxial, UTP, STP and fiber, Token Ring, twin axial and mainframe connectivity.

In 2000, BNA became a public limited company and changed the company’s name to BNA Technology Consulting Limited, to reflect its plans for diversification in to IT consulting and services. Today, BNA Technology Consulting Ltd is headquartered in Bengaluru and has its branches spread across Chennai, Kochi, Mumbai, and Hyderabad with associate overseas offices in UAE (Dubai), USA, Singapore, and employs around 150 professionals.
